Blackpool Pleasure Beach may be the biggest and most popular attraction in Blackpool, as well as UK's top tourist attraction, but there are also numerous other attractions spread throughout Blackpool's area, to check out, such as:


Stanley Park, a beautiful park that was opened in 1926, featuring more than 250 acres of golf course, lake and ornamental gardens, as well as great areas for children to play in, including a skate/bmx park and tennis courts.


Model Village, situated at the edge of Stanley Park, offering a fascinatingly different view on a miniature world. The Village was constructed approximately 40 years ago and consists of 2 acres of beautifuly landscaped gardens.


Solaris Center, a free environmental awareness attraction that teaches visitors about recycling, wind turbines, solar power and sustainable power solutions.


The Blackpool trams, an attraction favored by locals and visitors, alike, a unique feature, Blackpool being the only British Town to maintain its tramways, from the first opening, in 1885, to the present day. One tram is in the shape of a Trawler and another in the shape of a traditional American Train. Riding the Blackpool trams is considered a definitely "must" experience, when visiting Blackpool.


Blackpool Tower, a Victorian version of the Eiffel Tower, one of the most famous towers in UK. The Tower also contains a ballroom, which is the lavish ballroom seen in the 1996 Japanese film "Shall We Dance?", a circus, a bug zone and an aquarium.


Blackpool Opera House, dating since 1889, designed by the famous theatre architect Frank Matcham, home to the biggest stage in the country.


The Dr Who Exhibition, which was first opened in 1973, presently located next to the Sealife Centre, another favorite attraction in Blackpool. Visitors will see here everything from Daleks, Sea Devils to Cyber men and all the gadgets that the Dr. used.


Penny Farm, a horse lovers paradise. This wonderful place is actually a rescue center for approximately 55 horses and ponies. Penny Farm has been awarded small attraction of the years 2007/08 by Blackpool Council.
