“Chip” Shaw (J.D. ’16), United States Air Force Jag Corps, is a volunteer pilot for Pilots N’Paws, a non-profit organization dedicated to participating volunteers to provide the precious services of rescuing, sheltering, and adopting animals. The group recruits and schedules pilots keen to assist with animal transportation. In the photograph, Shaw, a non-public pilot, prepares to fly two Collie pups from North Carolina to Maryland. Shaw, currently on active responsibility in Washington, D.C., is enrolled within the Environmental and Energy Law LL.M. Innovative graduate program integrates law, policy, and the aerospace field.
